Heroic Cats in Films

Yes, I hear you. Cats are usually portrayed as the bad guys and some are very naughty. However, some are quite heroic and I think they ought to be recognised. Please be warned, there will be spoilers...
Goose from Captain Marvel: We are starting with a modern example. Goose is a 'flerken', an extraterrestial being who can swallow large objects and disguise them. She helps save the day in Captain Marvel and The Marvels due to this ability (and provides some comedy).

Tao from The Incredible Journey: This film is about three pets who accidentally end up making a three hundred mile trek back to their home through the Canadian wilderness. Tao (the feline character) helps chase off a bear, hunt food for his companions and breaks the dogs out of their accidental confinement.

Thomas O Malley from Aristrocats: This classic alley cat charmer assists Duchess (main protagonist) and her kittens after they have been catnapped from their luxurious Parisian home and dumped in the French countryside by the jealous English butler Edgar. Thomas O Malley helps them navigate the countryside, Edgar and gets them safely back to their Parisian home.

Simpskin from The Tailor of Gloucester: Simpskin goes out to buy 'twist' for his owner but returns to find his mice gone and hides the twist in anger. The tailor falls ill but thanks to the mice he finds a mostly completed waistcoat but with one buttonhole to finish! Simpskin then produces the twist and the tailor makes his fortune with the success of the waistcoat.

Jemima from Cats the Musical: There are many great cats in this film, but this beautiful kitten is the one who shows kindness and love to the ostracised elder cat Grizabella. With Jemima's help, Grizabella is accepted back into the tribe and is chosen to be the cat who goes to the Heavenside Layer to be reborn into a new Jellicle life.

Sergeant Tibbs from One Hundred and One Dalmations: This brave cat (along with Colonel a retired sheepdog and Captain a retired cavalry horse) find the missing puppies, manage to lead them out of their captivity and across the snowy countryside.

I kept it short and sweet this time, but there are definitely a few more heroic cats in films to write about in the future. So many cats, so little time!
Let me know below who you would add to this list and why...
